My husband and I started our family a little later than most. We have two small children at home. We struggle with being working parents and being there for all of our first child’s school events and giving attention to the younger child. We are both tired and my days don’t necessarily end when I get home. We still have swim, dance, dinner, baths and homework to contend with. I sometimes follow up on work items from earlier in the day during my evenings and sometimes weekends.
I unfortunately will be one of those moms that “die at the desk” because I haven’t prepared as well as I should have. I started thinking about what I wanted to leave for my children so I came up with Shoogapi.
My daily uniform requires high heels. I am notorious for finding every crack in sidewalks and ruining my shoes. When I have looked into getting these repaired I was told they could smooth it out and polish them. Needless to say I didn’t love the results.
So Shoogapi was born. My goal is to give anyone wearing high heels the opportunity to make them their own or fix or repair what prevents you from wearing them.
